ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday praised Qatar’s achievements under the leadership of its Amir, noting that the country has set a balanced and inspiring example of progress, stability and modern statecraft.
He expressed these views in a message posted on X, formerly (Twitter), on Qatar’s national day, extending his warm congratulations to the Amir of Qatar, the royal family and the people of Qatar.
Mr Naqvi described Qatar’s national day as a symbol of enlightened leadership, national unity, and a forward-looking journey. He said the day reflects the resilience and collective spirit of the Qatari nation under the guidance of its leadership.
“Qatar’s journey highlights visionary leadership, coupled with national unity, sustainable development and prosperity, while maintaining social harmony and institutional strength,” the minister added.
He also conveyed greetings to his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, referring to him as a “dear brother” and extending his best wishes on the occasion.
Mr Naqvi appreciated Qatar’s innovation and development across key sectors, including the economy, education, healthcare, sports, and technology.
