Nation pays tribute to Allama Iqbal on his 82nd Anniversary

ISLAMABAD: Nation pays tribute to Allama Iqbal called as “The poet of East” on his 82nd Death Anniversary.

Allama Iqbal conceived the Idea of Pakistan, therefore regarded as the founding Fathers of Pakistan.

 Regarded as a Visionary Poet he wrote a number of books with primary purpose of Wakening up the Muslims of Sub-Continent.

Born on Novermber 9,1877 in Sialkot, Dr. Allama Iqbal was one of the main exponents of the Historic Pakistan Movement.

His famous Allahbad Address in 1930, is considered as the turning point the Pakistan Movement and paved a path for the Creation of Pakistan.

His best literary work includes Asrar-e -Khudi, Payam- i -Mashriq, Bang -i- Dara, Bal- i- Jibril, Zarb- i- Kalimand, Armughan -e- Hijaz.

He first gave the philosophy of “ Khudi” and was famous among the youth of Sub-continent.

His books translated into Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, English and several other languages.
