Banners display the picture of the father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam along with Nawab of Junagadh, Nawab Jahangir Khanji, and Dewan (Prime Minister) of Junagadh, Sultan Ahmed Ali. On behalf of Junagadh State, banners carry the message of happy independence to all Pakistanis in and across the globe.

In connection with happy independence Day, a clear message was given to India that Junagadh State is the part and parcel of Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that Junagadh State acceded to Pakistan on 15 September 1947. The instrument of accession carries the signatures of Nawab Mahabat Khanji and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Junagadh State remained in the jurisdiction of Pakistan till the 9th of November 1947 after that India illegally occupied the State which is occupied to date.

Current Nawab of Junagadh, Nawab Jahangir Khanji, and Dewan Sultan Ahmed are tirelessly leading efforts aimed at the liberation of Junagadh State and its inclusion in Pakistan.
