MURREE: Nawaz Sharif, President Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) has called for urgent relief to be provided to the public regarding petroleum product prices.
A key meeting of the PML-N leadership was held in Murree, chaired by the three-time former prime minister. Among those present were Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, and other senior party figures.
The leadership reviewed the prevailing political situation in the country. Nawaz praised the performance of both Prime Minister Shehbaz and Chief Minister Maryam and urged further measures to ensure the protection of public welfare.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed satisfaction with the improving economic outlook, attributing the positive trend to steps taken by the federal government.
