Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, led a high-level meeting of the Estate Office, focusing on combatting illegal allotments.
In the session, Director General Obbaid Ud Din briefed Minister Pirzada on the department’s operations. The Minister stressed the importance of upholding the law and ensuring transparency in allotments. He reaffirmed the government’s dedication to providing affordable housing while maintaining fairness in transactions.
Minister Pirzada who took charge of the ministry on Tuesday directed a comprehensive review of past allotments to root out illegality, promising strict action against offenders. He urged the implementation of robust measures to prevent future irregularities.
Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash, Secretary of Housing and Works, and senior ministry officials attended the meeting.
