A newly constructed building of a school collapsed here on Thursday but no causalities were reported.

According to details, a newly constructed school building located in village 4-AH of Khanewal suddenly came down, reported INP wire service.
No causalities were reported as the building was vacant at the time of the incident.
Sources said that use of substandard construction material resulted in collapse of the newly constructed building which was yet to be inaugurated.
The citizens have demanded of the Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar and other authorities concerned for launching investigation against the contractor who constructed the building.
