ISLAMABAD: Number of confirmed coronavirus epidemic cases all over Pakistan reached to 11,940 after new infections were confirmed in the country while the total number of COVID-19 fatalities jumped to 253.
As per the province-wise break up given by Coronavirus Dashboard of the total number of cases as of 9:45am, April 25, is as the total confirmed infections were reported 11,940 with Punjab leading the toll of 5,046, followed by Sindh with 3,945, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 1,708, Balochistan 656, Gilgit-Baltistan 307, Islamabad Capital Territory 214 and AJK 55.
The province-wise break up given by Coronavirus Dashboard of the total COVID-19 deaths as of 9:45am, April 25, is as the total fatalitie were reported 253, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leading the toll with 89, followed by Sindh with 75, Punjab with 73, Balochistan 10, Gilgit-Baltistan 3 and Islamabad Capital Territory 3.
Official figures given regarding the total confirmed infections of coronavirus round the globe so far were recorded more than 2.7 million cases.
The death toll with the COVID-19 was confirmed as 190,000 deaths since the virus emerged in China in December.
