“Malik Baloch initially advocated for pardoning those who went to the mountains, but we tried granting amnesty, and it achieved nothing,” Rana said.

He strongly criticized violent elements in the province, saying, “Those who drag passengers off buses and shoot them do not want Balochistan to develop. The only solution to deal with such militants is a security operation.”

On the subject of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Rana Sanaullah said they are willing to hold talks if he is ready to engage. He also added that the founder’s sons have the right to visit their father if they wish to.

Rana Sanaullah said that artificial shortage of sugar was created in the country to make quick profits, and blamed middlemen as the main culprits behind the crisis.

He further said in the show that the surge in sugar prices to Rs200 per kg is due to these middlemen who manipulated the market by creating a false sense of scarcity. He added that sugar exports had been allowed after assurances from mill owners that there would be no shortage, yet the crisis unfolded regardless.

“I don’t believe any individual is solely responsible. This seems to be a coordinated act,” he said. “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif did not give any concessions to anyone involved in the sugar issue,” he added.
