LAHORE: Overseas Pakistanis Commission has significant importance in the existing extra ordinary situation, this was stated by Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar.
The vice-chairman of the overseas Pakistanis commission, Punjab, Waseem Akhtar Ramay called on CM Punjab wherein measures for the solution of problems related to overseas Pakistanis were discussed.
The meet up also talked about facilities provided to Pakistan returning from abroad in the quarantine facilities.
The CM Punjab informed that people in quaratine facilities and in hotels are allowed to order take away foods while indiscriminate action will be taken over complains of substandard and expensive foods.
Usman Buzdar also said that the overseas Pakistanis commission will be given access to people quarantine in hotels and quarantine facilities.
The CM Punjab said that Pakistanis living abroad have turned jobless in the recent pandemic.
Usman Buzdar assured that he will review to give relief to those who work abroad on work permit and he has given responsiblity in this connection to the relevant departments.
