BRUSSELS:
The overseas Pakistani community in Belgium has called upon European Union to play its pivoting role in resolving the long-awaiting Kashmir issue and ongoing antagonism situation on Pakistan-India borders.
Condemning the war mongering policy of India, the Kashmir Council of Europe (EU) on Monday held protest against Indian aggression in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and its recent military misadventure against Pakistan.
The protest was held before the office of European Commission (EU) for External Action Service in Brussels under flagship of Kashmir Council EU led by Ali Raza Syed, the chairman of non-governmental organization, where a large number of peace lovers participated in the public gathering to promote peace in the region and called for early resolution of the long pending Kashmir dispute.
The protesters chanted anti-war slogans, while holding the placards inscribed with jingles for peace and demand for early resolution of Kashmir dispute.

The chairman Kashmir Council EU, Ali Raza Syed in a message for the publication ‘The News Today’ said that entire overseas community of Pakistan in Europe has wished for lasting and durable peace in South Asian region, particularly in Indian Occupied Kashmir, suffering at the hands of Indian military for last couple of decades.
“We call for European Union to use its influence for resolving long pending Kashmir issue and defusing the situation on borders after military misadventure of India in Pakistan”, Mr. Syed maintained.
