RAWALPINDI: The joint counter-terrorism exercise, Dosti-II, between Pakistan and Tajikistan successfully concluded on Saturday (August 9), at the Fakhrobod Base in Tajikistan.
The exercise brought together two combat teams from the Pakistan Army’s Light Commando Battalion and four combat teams from the Tajikistan Special Forces.
The primary goal of the Dosti II, was to refine drills, procedures, and techniques for counter-terrorism operations through joint training, strengthening the military-to-military relationship between the two nations. All training and military diplomacy objectives were achieved.
The closing ceremony was attended by senior military officials from both countries. Defense Attaché (Pakistan) to Tajikistan, Colonel Muhammad Muazzam Zafar, served as the chief guest from the Pakistani side.
The participating troops were commended for their high standards of professional excellence throughout the exercise.
