Pakistan crosses 10,000 mark of deaths; 2,155 infections, 55 fatalities reported in 24 hrs

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has crossed 10,000 mark of coronavirus pandemic deaths across the country, as 55 fatalities were reported during last 24 hours besides 2,155 people were tested positive.
Besides second wave of coronavirus another threat, of Coronavirus Variant found in people coming from Britain, caused panic and Government has issued strict orders and asked people to ensure implementation on SOPSs.
During last 24 hours COVID-19 claimed 55 more lives across the Pakistan while 2,155 people were tested positive to coronavirus pandemic.
2,155 new coronavirus epidemic infections were reported in last 24 hours and 55 new deaths have been confirmed on Wednesday. With 2,155 new infections reported in the country the toll surged to 477,240 cases and with 55 more deaths the toll of fatalities jumped to 10,047 deaths on Wednesday.
According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the NCOC on Sunday confirmed the death of 55 more people during last 24 hours besies reported that 2,155 persons tested positive for COVID-19.
Sindh with 213,193 overall COVID-19 cases remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Punjab has overtaken Sindh in most number of casualties.
So far 213,193 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 137,295 in Punjab 57,982 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 37,556 in Islamabad, 18,118 in Balochistan, 8,241 in Azad Kashmir and 4,855 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nationwide tally of fatalities remains 10,047 out of that Furthermore 3,982 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 3,520 in Sindh, 1,627 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 415 in Islamabad, 220 in Azad Kashmir, 182 in Balochistan, and 101 in Gilgit Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 6,656,373 coronavirus tests and 36,390 in the last 24 hours. 430,113 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,219 patients are in critical condition.
