ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has crossed grim milestone of 29,000 deaths across the country by Coronavirus, 4 deaths were confirmed during last 24 hours while 4,286 people were tested positive on Saturday morning.
According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,286 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours while four people have lost their lives.
With 4,286 infections were reported during last 24 hours taking the overall tally of positive cases to 1,320,120. With four fatalities reported in 24 hours by novel coronavirus the nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 29,003 on Saturday.
The NCOC figures regarding the province wise updates of the Coronavirus pandemic Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
NCOC reports regarding the countrywide death toll stated that 29,003 out of which 13,087 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,693 in Sindh 5,953 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 968 in Islamabad, 749 in Azad Kashmir, 367 in Balochistan, and 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
1,320,120 positive cases were reported across the country so far out of which 497,153 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 451,408 in Punjab 182,100 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 110,597 in Islamabad, 34,739 in Azad Kashmir 33,684 in Balochistan and 10,439 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 24,085,473 coronavirus tests and 52,522 in the last 24 hours. 1,263,005 patients have recovered in the country whereas 709 patients are in critical condition.
The COVID-19 positivity ratio was recorded at 8.16 per cent.
So far, 101,457,925 people have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine including 332,969 in last 24 hours. 76,649,649 citizens have been fully vaccinated while 462,614 received their second dose in last 24 hours.
The number of total administered doses has reached to 166,837,089 with 753,282 in the last 24 hours.
