Pakistan: death toll jumps to 269; confirmed COVID-19 cases reaches to 12,723

ISLAMABAD: Death toll, all over Pakistan on Sunday, have reached to 269 and the figures of confirmed coronavirus infections reached to 12,723 after new cases were recorded by the national health authorities.

As per the province-wise break up of the total number of cases as given on  the Coronavirus Dashboard at 9:00am, April 26, total confirmed cases were 12,723 and Punjab was still on top with 5,378 confirmed infections followed by Sindh with 4,232, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 1,793, Balochistan 722, Gilgit-Baltistan 308, Islamabad Capital Territory 235 and AJK 55.

Regarding the fatalities country-wide, the province-wise break up of the total number of deaths, as given by the Coronavirus Dashboard at 9:00am, April 26, was 269, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on top with the figures of 93 followed by Punjab with 81, Sindh with 78, Balochistan 11, Gilgit-Baltistan 3 and Islamabad Capital Territory 3.
