ISLAMABAD: Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Pakistan) Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce, to facilitate cooperation between the two chambers.
The agreement establishes a framework for developing stronger business relations between the parties and establishes cooperation procedures to enhance the achievement of their respective economic objectives.
Under the terms of the MoU, the two chambers will promote trade in their respective countries, exchange information on trade opportunities and investment potential, organize prospective business missions, study trips, commercial events, trade fairs, exhibitions, seminars.
In addition, the chambers will send and receive business delegations and encourage joint ventures among their members.
The signing ceremony was held on a virtual platform by Álvaro Massingue, President of Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM), and Nadeem Rauf, President of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of, Pakistani High Commissioner Dr. Mazhar Javed, Trade Attache Humaira Israr, Mudassir, representative of Pakistani Ministry of Commerce, General Secretary for CCM Teresa Muenda , President of International Cooperation for CCM M. Asif Panjwani and other officials and representatives from both chambers.
