ISLAMABAD: Pakistan during last 24 hours has confirmed 89 new deaths by novel coronavirus besides 4,471 new coronavirus infections round the country.
With new deaths and new infections the toll of COVID-19 cases surged to 181,088 along with nationwide death tally has jumped to 3,590,
The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), has confirmed 181.088 coronavirus infections in the country as well as it reported 3,590 deaths due to COVID-19.
Sindh and Punjab crossed the mark of 60,000 infections of COVID-19 and the two provinces are rapidly moving to touch the 70,000 mark. Sindh is at top of the unfortunate list with 69,628 and Punjab with 66,943 coronavirus infections. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also crossed the 20,000 mark of infections with 21,997 infections reported in the province while Islamabad Capital Territory also crossed 10,000 infections mark with 10,912 infections reported so far.
Pakistan crossed one million mark of COVID-19 tests as so far 1,102,162 coronavirus tests were conducted nation-wide out of which 30,520 during last 24 hours. 71,458 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas many are in critical condition. Coronavirus epidemic patients are under treatment at quarantine centers of 462 hospitals where 7,295 beds are available.
According to latest figure displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of NCOC on June 22, Monday 10:00am, the province-wise break up after confirming the toll of 181,088 infections show that Sindh is at the top of unfortunate table of COVID-19 infections with 69,628 coronavirus cases followed by Punjab with.66,943 infections of the COVID-19 pandemic. The infections confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have crossed 21,997 confirmed infections, in Balochistan toll surged to 9,475, Gilgit-Baltistan reached to the toll of 1,288 infections, Islamabad Capital Territory reached to 10,912 and 845 infection reported in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
The figure given by Coronavirus Dashboard in its province-wise break up regarding the total 3,590 deaths reported in the country. Punjab is at top of the list of confirmed deaths with 1,435 while Sindh with 1,089 deaths at number two. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa death toll surged to 821, Balochistan 102, Gilgit-Baltistan 22, Islamabad Capital Territory 101 and AJK 20.
