ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported lowest number of death during last two months as 23 new deaths were reported while 1,629 were reported positive during last 24 hours.
During last 24 hours 23 more people have lost lives to COVID-19 and 1,629 more people were tested positive to the virus.
Nationwide infections toll reported on Monday was 1,629 to coronavirus epidemic besides 23 more deaths were confirmed. With 1,629 new infections reported in the country that took the toll to 534,041 cases and with 23 new deaths the toll of fatalities jumped to 11,318.
According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the NCOC confirmed the death of 23 more people during last 24 hours besides reported that 1,629 persons tested positive for COVID-19.
Sindh with 241,200 overall COVID-19 cases remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Punjab has overtaken Sindh in most number of casualties.
So far across the country 241,200 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 154,017 in Punjab 65,532 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 40,815 in Islamabad, 18,750 in Balochistan, 8,825 in Azad Kashmir and 4,902 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nationwide tally of fatalities remains 11,318 out of that 4,568 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 3,892 in Sindh, 1,839 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 468 in Islamabad, 256 in Azad Kashmir, 193 in Balochistan, and 102 in Gilgit Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 7,680,242 coronavirus tests and 36,607 in the last 24 hours. 488,903 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,218 patients are in critical condition.
