Pakistan Stands Fifth Most Climate-Vulnerable Country: NDMA

ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Wednesday declared that Pakistan is ranked fifth globally among the countries most vulnerable to climate-related risks.

According to the NDMA, climate change has emerged as a significant security threat to humanity and can have severe negative impacts on human life.

In an effort to raise awareness, the NDMA has launched a documentary series focused on climate change and natural disasters.

The objective of this initiative is to provide accurate information and educate the public on the effects of climate change and the importance of preparedness.

The NDMA further reported that some glaciers in the Karakoram mountain range are not only stabilizing but also increasing in size, which is a notable environmental observation.
