ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s newly appointed Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, presented a copy of his Letter of Credentials to Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov in Tashkent on July 22, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to strengthening their strategic partnership.
As per a statement, Foreign Minister Saidov warmly welcomed Ambassador Tipu, congratulated him on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission. He also reiterated Uzbekistan’s commitment to working closely with Pakistan to further deepen bilateral ties.
During the meeting, Ambassador Tipu and Foreign Minister Saidov held detailed discussions on expanding cooperation in trade, economy and investment, while also focusing on enhancing regional connectivity and promoting interregional linkages.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to implementing agreements reached by the leadership of the two countries and expressed confidence that the longstanding partnership between Pakistan and Uzbekistan would continue to grow for the mutual benefit of both nations.
