ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani diplomat serving in Ukraine has been found guilty of gross misconduct and sexual harassment of a local employ at the embassy in Kyiv.
Taking stern action against him, government of Pakistan has terminated him from service.
As per notification issued by ministry of foreign affairs, Waqar Ahmed, who was serving as first secretary in Pakistan’s embassy in Ukranian Capital Kyiv had charges of sexual harassment of a local based cleaner, abuse of authority and unlawful termination of the local employee.
The inquiries against him found him guilty of these charges and foreign secretary has terminated his services.
