KARACHI: The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized hundreds of kilogram high quality hashish here but the smugglers managed to escape.
According to details, the PCG on a tip-off regarding drugs smuggling from Pasni (Balochistan) increased checking in border area and it chased a suspected caravan of camels.
After being chased, the smugglers leaving the camels behind escaped the scene.
During search, 1580 kilogram high quality hashish laden on nine camels was recovered.
The PCG said that the recovered drugs worth millions of rupees in international market and, which was feared to be smuggled abroad.
