ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Vice President and parliamentary party leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh has said that the PDM is a bunch of thieves, and he would prove this.
Addressing a press conference here Tuesday, flanked by PTI leaders Saifullah Abro, Hunaid Lakhani and others, he said he has visited whole including Larkana, Dadu, Nawabshah and Tharparker, where conditions are dismal and poor people living a pathetic life. He said the PPP had made whole Sindh their personal estate.
He said Zardari party is the result of a fake death will. However, these people are looting Sindh and its people in the name of Muhatarma. He said despite the fact that the PPP is in power in Sindh for 13 years, but the conditions of the province are still dismal.
He said different audit reports have unearthed this corruption. He said corruption in Sindh has further increased after Murad Ali Shah has become the chief minister. He said Sindh has attained progress only in corruption. He said Murad Ali Shah also hold the portfolio of finance and hence he is directly responsible for corruption in Sindh government departments.
Haleem Adil said a corruption of more than two trillion rupees is conducted in finance department of Sindh. He said billion of rupees in the pension funds of government servants is also done. He said this looted money is transferred to the accounts of the residents of district Dadu and Taluka Johi.
He said the main character of this corruption is Imdad Ali who is head of Dawaich family. He said the looted funds were transferred from the treasury office of the Sindh finance department. Later all the looted money was transferred to the accounts of a front man of an important personality.
He said that billions of rupees have already been looted through fake bank accounts. He said in Sindh education department fake appointments are made and future of students of Sindh destroyed. He said all this is being done on the order of Zardari. He said in the healthcare sector there is also a huge corruption and mismanagement. He said same situation is there in Sindh local government and revenue departments. He said the PPP government got illegally occupied thousands of acres of forest lands and got tree hacked from there.
Haleem Adil said there is corruption in every sector and there are many cases and references of corruption against Zardari. He said in 2019 more than 187000 cases of dog bite were reported in Sindh. He said 55 children of Sindh are out of schools.
He said 53 per cent families in Sindh are living beneath the poverty line. He said 60percent people of Sindh are drinking gutter-mixed water. He said huge corruption was made even in coronavirus funds. He said corruption was made also in construction of Sindh assembly building. He said the rulers are using police to browbeat their political opponents. He said that SSP Farukh Bashir is the real IG of Sindh.
Haleem Adil said when the opposition is asked to be accountable for their corruption they decry for the rights of people. He said how these people utter the name of people as they themselves have looted the people of Pakistan.
He said the movement of PDM has proved to be movement to save corruption. He said now the people have fully understood lies of these thieves.
