People are not slave, they are masters!

Renowned writer Pitras Bukhari was sitting in his office when a gentleman visited him, Pitras offered him chair but he told him that he was a member of National Assembly.

Pitras Bukhari smiled and replied, “So if you are MNA, kindly sit on two chairs.” Nowadays we need these nice and sincere people in our country because they reflect true values which should be norms of any cultured society.

We notice in our daily routine that we suffer because of these special protocols, these so called sit inns, dharrnas and protests. I am not against of freedom of expression but life of common man has been disturbed by these dramas.

All of us effect because of these squads and protocols, patients are in ambulances, they are dying but due to the road blocks they cannot reach hospital and get first aid.

Employees of various companies have also issues in this regard. They don’t able to attend office in time, resultantly they bear salary deduction.

We people are becoming toys in the hands of these so called political leaders and prominent personalities … We are being treated like animals, these so called leaders and their protocols have ruined our lives and our hopes as well.

On the other hand, the protesters don’t believe in peaceful demonstrations, they get violent, burn public property, force shopkeepers to shut down their markets, they burn cars, motorcycles even media vans those vans who give coverage to their protests.

Our law enforcement agencies look helpless in this situation; their arrangements are always inadequate to control this mess. We people are becoming toys in the hands of these so called political leaders and prominent personalities.

This is also our country, we travel on roads and pay road tax, and we pay toll tax. We buy any edible like milk, butter, rice, flour we pay sales tax. Despite the tall claims of our government, poor people are getting poorer while richer are becoming richest.

Every government is complaining about economic problems, and we citizens are trying to play our role for the betterment of our country. We are facing electricity and gas load shedding but still we are paying bills. We are not getting facilities but are paying their price.

We are being treated like animals, these so called leaders and their protocols have ruined our lives and our hopes as well. It is the need of hour to give more importance to civic problems more than these protocols.
