PFA seals three food businesses, impose fine on two over poor quality products

LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed three food businesses and imposed fine on two others over poor quality products and unhygienic condition here on Saturday.

In line with the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the PFA teams headed by its Director General (DG) Capt (Retd) Muhammad Usman, checked the ‘sehri points’ in different areas of the Lahore.

During the checking, three food businesses including Chandani Chowk Restaurant, China Naan Restaurant and Yasir Broast were sealed over quality of products and unhygienic condition while Rs50,000 fine on Nadeem Tikka and Rs25,000 on Bar B.Q Tonight.

Meanwhile, the PFA disposed off seized and disposed off 45kg chicken, 39kg mutton, 40 liter cooking oil and 14kg substandard spices besides moldy vegetables of different kinds.
