Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is likely to hold talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today regarding Pakistan’s decision to boycott the match against India in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

As per the sources, Naqvi will brief the prime minister on his recent meeting with an International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation.

Sources said the final call on playing the match against India will be taken by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

It is worth noting that an ICC delegation arrived in Lahore on Sunday to meet Mohsin Naqvi and requested Pakistan to review its decision about the match against India.

The talks, the sources added, would be considered successful if Bangladesh’s grievances are addressed, while Pakistan’s decision on playing India would be taken at a later stage.
