WAZIRABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Attaullah Tarar, who was arrested from Wazirabad on Friday has been released.
PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb had confirmed the arrest of Attaullah Tarar, while the reason for his arrest and the police station where he is being taken are unknown.
Attaullah Tarar was arrested during election campaign of his party’s candidate Syeda Nosheen Zahray Shah in Daska for by elections of NA-75.
The PML-N leader Uzma Bukhai had said that Tarrar had been arrested from Wazirabad was shifted to City Police Station.
She claimed that the PML-N leader was not nominated in any case, adding that the government was trying to harass our people.
