PESHAWAR: Police pulled back from many checkpoints in South Waziristan and Raghzai and Khankot check points were closed after certain rise in the attacks on police officials and increase in casualties in Raghzai Police Station.
DPO South Waziristan Atiq ur rehman told The News Today correspondent, ‘Wana police are not going to close any police Thana (police station)’. He went of to say that a move to pull back police for re construction of check points and provide equipment to them.
Atiq ur rehman told this scribe that extra police personnel were deployed in Azam wersak and spin tana.

ANP candidate for national assembly Ayaz wazir told, the Ittehad demanded from federal government to gave full power to police. He said, it is the responsibility of the state to restore peace in Wana.
Imran Wazir PPP leader said, ‘the recent wave of target killings reignited fear among the local people. He said Siyasi Ittehad is in consultation with local maliks and molvis to prepare plan for November 20 protest.
