ISLAMABAD: Premier Imran Khan on Tuesday held a telephonic conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss the current situation arises after coronavirus epidemic .
The two leaders discussed the situation arising out of the spread of the novel coronavirus across the world.
During the call, the Prime Minister emphasized that the virus had unfolded an unprecedented global health and economic crisis, where developing countries wouldl be hit harder due to lack of fiscal space and debt servicing.
He said people in the developing world faced a stark choice, death by COVID-19 or by hunger.
