ISLAMABAD: President Dr.Arif Alvi has convened a meeting of provincial governors and Ulema representing different schools of thought, on Saturday (18th April), to chalk out proposals for congregations in Mosques during holy month of Ramazan.
Decision to call this moot and get opinion of leading Ulema was taken in a meeting held in the Presidency on Tuesday. Presided over by President Alvi, it was attended by Federal Minister for Interior, Brig(R). Ijaz Ahmad Shah, and Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Pir Noor ul Haq Qadri.
Decision to call this moot and get opinion of leading Ulema was taken in a meeting held in the Presidency on Tuesday.
The meeting agreed that the President would convene a meeting of all governors, President of AJK, and Ulema, for consultation and to seek their recommendations and guidelines about Taraweeh Prayers in view of the current Corona pandemic. The scheduled moot would be a video conference.
