President Asif Ali Zardari will visit Bahrain from January 13 to 16 for high-level meetings with the country’s leadership, aimed at strengthening diplomatic and strategic ties between the two nations.
They will discuss bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.

According to spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the aim of the visit is to expand oportunities for cooperation in trade and economic partnership, defense and security and people-to-people relations.
