KENSINGTON PALACE: The Royal couple of Prince William and Princess, Kate Middleton’s Pakistan trip confirmed, formal approval and dates announced for the visit.
Prince William and Princess, Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Pakistan on October 14 and stay in the country till October 18.
The British High Commissioner confirmed the visit earlier today.
A tweet from the official Twitter handle of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Royal Foundation, based at Kensington Palace, tweeted out confirmation of the visit, as well.
It will be the first official visit by a member of the British royal family to Pakistan since 2006 when Prince Charles and Camilla traveled to Pakistan.
William and Kate’s last major tour was to Sweden and Norway in January 2018, when the Duchess was pregnant with their third child Prince Louis.
The Duke has undertaken solo visits to the Middle East, France, Africa and New Zealand since then.
The couple also travelled to Cyprus last December to deliver Christmas presents to members of the 11 Squadron at RAF Akrotiri.

It’s set to be a busy couple of months for the royal family as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex begin their ten-day tour of southern Africa on Monday 23 September.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will also be travelling to New Zealand this autumn. (INP)
