Professor Abid Farooq aka ‘Baaghi’ dies of brain hemorrhage

LAHORE: Professor Abid Farooq, who played the role of ‘Professor Baaghi’ in funny program, has passed away due to a brain hemorrhage on Wednesday in Lahore.

According to the reports, the funeral prayers will be offered tomorrow (Thursday) at 3:30pm at Mayani Sahib Cemetery, Lytton Road.

Professor Baghi has passed away after a blood vessel in his brain hemorrhaged leading to a cerebro vascular accident.

Prof. Abid Farooq had been undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital for the last few days due to a brain hemorrhage.

Professor Baghi is known for his humorous and unique style of analysis. He worked with well-known talk show of a private TV channel for a long time.

Earlier in a tweet, his family requested prayers from all the friends and loved ones of the deceased. Professor Baghi is a columnist and analyst who is known for his unique style of satire, humor and analytics.

As per the media reports, professor Abid also used to deliver academic lectures in different educational institutes all across the globe.
