RAWALPINDI: Agricultural task force Punjab is working for availability of quality Agricultural inputs (Fertilizer and pesticides) without the quality Agricultural inputs better crops yield is not possible.
Now the Government of Punjab is focusing to ensure the availability of quality agricultural inputs. Agricultural inspectors and field of worker are continuous monitoring the Agricultural inputs manufacturer and dealers in every district of Punjab.
Additional Secretary Task force said that there is zero tolerance against the faked pesticide and fertilizer manufacturer and dealers.
In this regard action has been taken on large scale in last three months. Additional Secretary Agricultural force Punajb Rana Ali Arshad told during his visit to Rawalpindi that in last three months Agricultural pesticides of pricing about two hundred millions has disposed off and action has been taken against fake agricultural pesticides manufacture and dealers according to Agricultural peptides ordinance 1971, amended ordinance 1997 and amended ordinance 2018.
Ten pesticides manufacturing factories has also been sealed. Twenty millions fine has been imposed against the fertilizer dealers on overpricing. Additional Secretary Task force said that there is zero tolerance against the faked pesticide and fertilizer manufacturer and dealers.

He further said that Agricultural task force Punjab has introduced new system for complaints against fake fertilizer and pesticide dealers through which farmers can send complaints via sms or whatsapp message on 0300-2955539 and action is being taken within 24 hours. He said that there is no shortage of agricultural inputs throughout the Punjab and agricultural task force Punjab ensuring the availability
