LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the provincial government has approved a strategy to strictly implement decisions taken by National Command Operation Center (NCOC) in letter and spirit.
He stated this while addressing a news conference in Lahore on Tuesday after chairing meeting of Cabinet’s Anti Corona Committee.
Usman Buzdar said that the Cabinet Committee has decided that effective smart lockdown will be imposed in districts with more than twelve percent Corona positive cases.
He said that this smart lockdown will continue till the 11th of next month however Cabinet Committee will review the situation after one week.
Public transport including Metro Bus and Orange Line Train service will remain closed, he added.
The chief minister said that there will be ban on organizing marriage ceremonies from Thursday
He said that there will be no social and cultural gathering and sports events as well. He said that Parks will remain shut while business centers will remain closed for two days weekly.
He said that there will be no in and outside dining service at restaurants however Take Away facility will be available.
Usman Buzdar said that action will be taken against those who will not wear face masks
The chief minister said that 125 vaccination centers are functional in province where vaccination is being administered to senior citizens.
