Ali Haider Gilani, who was kidnapped in 2013 and has remained under persistent security threats since his recovery, expressed strong disapproval of the decision.

“I have been a target of terrorism for many years, and my life remains at risk,” he said, describing the government’s step as “extremely irresponsible.”
