LAHORE; The Punjab disaster management authority (PDMA) has reported a whopping 2,040 new cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
Twenty two people also died from the virus, taking the death toll to 629. 33,144 individuals have been infected with COVID-19 in Punjab. 2,040 new coronavirus cases have been detected, 7,705 tests performed while 22 more lives have been lost in last 24 hours. 629 lives in total have been lost while 7,806 people have recovered.
266,959 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Punjab till date. The current testing capacity in the province now stands at 8,000. 562 healthcare workers have been found to be infected with COVID-19 out of 2,831 tested till date in Punjab.
16,388 individuals have been infected with #covid19 in Lahore including 1,819 in last 48 hours, while 237 lives have been lost in the city including 25 in 48 hours
2,707 people have been infected in Rawalpindi and 132 lives have been lost in the district including 12 in 48 hours
