The Chairman of Pasbsan-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Uzair Ahmad Ghazali addressing the rally said that the all-party meeting of Kashmiri politicians convened by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, was actually a bid to divert the world’s attention from the ongoing war crimes being perpetrated by Indian troops in IIOJK.

He said India has always backed away from its promises and agreements made with the Kashmiris. He added that the people of Kashmir had already rejected any kind of elections under Indian supervision because they are not interested in sham elections but wanted their birthright to self-determination.

Pasban-e-Hurriyat Vice Chairman, Osman Ali Hashim, Dr Manzoor, Javaid Ahmad Mughal and other speakers addressing the rally said that Kashmiri people could not get any relief from the meetings held in New Delhi because Modi gang would never take steps in their favour.

They appealed to the United Nations to impress upon India to stop human rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory and give the Kashmiris their birthright to self-determination as per the UN resolutions.
