PPP senior leader in his tweets has publicly announced that he will not pursue the pending criminal and civil cases against her in good faith.

Earlier, Ms. Cynthia Dawn Ritchie blamed Senator A. Rehman Malik of her rape in his office. She also alleged Former PM Yousaf Raza Gillani of harassment back in Pakistan People’s Party Governement.

Malik claimed that she accused him with fake and malicious charges when he as Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior took notice of her derogatory remarks against Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on twitter.

He said that all of her allegations were dismissed twice by Justice of District and Session Court Islamabad and also by the Police. Copies of the judgment has already been made public.

Senator A. Rehman Malik in his statement stated as under:

“I with humble nature do not claim victory as it is evident that the lady in question being under pressure from inimical elements was forced into levelling these insinuations against me. I therefore, in good faith and moreover, because I honor women and their dignity, regardless of this matter, would not like to pursue this matter further as I have every reason/ proofs to believe that Cynthia Ritchie must have levelled these bogus allegations at the behest of influential elements having nefarious designs to malign me and the top political leadership of our country including first elected lady PM Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto. I have decided not to consider for revenge in good faith and I leave this issue to my Allah, to whom I’m grateful for vindicating my position before my Family, Friends & PPP leadership and Parliament.”
