ISLAMABAD: Senior Hurriyat leader Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has said that 27th October is observed as Black Day, every year, to condemn India’s invasion in Jammu and Kashmir and annexation of its one part to itself depriving the Kashmiri people of their inalienable right of self-determination.
Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad said it is India, which flouted the UN Security Council resolutions on the holding of plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir. He said India violated and broke its own Constitution by abrogating the Articles 370 and 35A, which gave Kashmir a special status.
He stated that thousands of Kashmiris, including Hurriyat leaders, were languishing in different jails of India for the last several decades to prevent any mass outbreaks.
Rehmani said that had India had any locus standing, she wouldn’t have kept massive army presence of her military exceeding over 9 hundred thousand personal armed with most
modern arms and ammunition beside a thick intelligence net-work for surveillance of the Kashmiris.
He ridiculed Modi regime’s white lies saying that not a single Kashmiri was with India. India changed the century-old permanent state resident law and granted domicile certificate of
Kashmir to over three million Indian non-state people to change the Muslim majority character of Jammu and Kashmir.
Rehmani warned that India was hatching horrible conspiracies in Kashmir like Israel is doing in Palestine to wipe Palestine off the face of world map.
