GILGIT: Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has said that the provincial government is committed to overcome electricity shortage from the areas.
He expressed these views while speaking during his visit to 32.5MW hydel power project site in Attabad, Hunza.
The Chief Minister said that federal government has promised for financing of the said project.
He said fifteen million euro donated by German government institution KFW will be spent on power projects in Hunza and Nagar districts.
Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman said that completion of said projects will resolve electricity shortage problems of GB.
