SHEIKHUPURA: Road mishap claims one life and left another inured critically in Sheikhupura as a result of collision between two over speeding vehicles here on Tuesday, police said.
According to details, a trailer and mini-truck collided with each other on motorway some 10 kilometers away from Sheikhupura Interchange, on Lahore road side.
One person identified as Zeeshan Haider, a resident of Sargodha died on the spot in the accident while Tanveer Abbas was critically injured.
The body was taken into custody by Motorways Police while the injured was shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Sheikhupura for treatment.
The police impounded both vehicles and after registering a case into the incident have started an investigation.
