CHINIOT: Robbers armed with firearms deprived several families of cash, jewelry and other valuables during broad daylight here on Wednesday.
According to details, armed robbers into make houses in jurisdiction of Lalian police station in Chiniot and took the residents hostage at gunpoint.
The outlaws took away, hundreds of thousands rupees cash, jewelry, cell phones and other valuables.
The affectees strongly reacting to police failure in controlling the crimes have demanded of DPO Chiniot Syed Husnain Haider Shah, RPO Faisalabad Riffat Mukhtar, IGP Punjab Dr Shoaib Dastagir to taken the notice of surge in robbery incidents in Chiniot and directing police officers to bust the robbers’ gangs besides recovery of looted valuables.
