Royal couple’s visit is an auspecious sign

The visit of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has ushered a new ray of hope for Pakistani nation that their sacred land is no more labelled as safe haven for terrorists and extremists.

The Royal couple is welcomed by Pakistanis with great warmth and love. The visit is taking place at a time when Pakistan has been fighting its case to survive itself from falling into “Black List” by Financial Action Task Force (FATF) meeting at Paris.

India is making desperate attempts to put Pakistan into “Black List” from “Gray List” by FATF, but so far it is very unlikely to happen.

It is quite evident that the Royal Highnesses has been enjoying a lot by visiting green capital Islamabad, then natural beauty of Gilgit Baltistan and Lahore – the bustling, vibrant cultural capital of Pakistan.

The couple in its 5-day trip visited mountainous Kalash and also witnessed first-hand how climate change is melting down glacier. In Lahore, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visiting SOS Children’s Village, a charitable organization that provides a home and family structure to over 150 kids. 

The couple also joined a birthday party for one of the children there. How come its is possible that the couple could stay away from cricket and delicious food when they are visiting Lahore.

The Prince and Princess visited the National Cricket Academy to enjoy Pakistan’s most popular sport and participated in a friendly cricket match. They visited the iconic Badshahi mosque as well.

The Duke and Duchess also visited start-of-the-art Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. This very important visit of Royal family members has sent a clear message to the world that Pakistan was safe and sound place to tour.

The world community should acknowledge sacrifices made by Pakistani security forces and common people. It is a peaceful land with natural beauty and lovely people known for their hospitality. Though, it is not the first visit by any Royal family members but the time of the visit is extremely crucial for Pakistan.

Not only Pakistani media, but British and other foreign media is highlighting the visit very positively. The law and order situation has been improving and we can expect Pakistan would soon attract foreign tourists as well.
