SIALKOT: Security officials foiled bid of escape in Pakistan by a young Indian Sikh girl, who reached Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur from India through Kartarpur Corridor to meet her Gujranwala based Pakistani Facebook friend.
According to the details, Haryana-India based a young Sikh girl Manjeet Kaur had friendship on Facebook with village Butraanwali-Gujranwala based youth Awais.
Later, their one year long Facebook friendship turned into their blind love.
Both these “love birds” Pakistani boy Awais and Indian Sikh girl Manjeet Kaur, decided to take advantage of Kartarpur Corrdior for their meeting.
Manjeet Kaur reached Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur thorugh Kartarpur Corridor a few days ago. Her boy friend-turned-lover Awais also reached there with a female of his family.
Love birds, both Manjeet Kaur and Awais met their at this world’s biggest Gurdwara.
On this occasion, Manjeet Kaur decided not to go back to India and she insisted to with her lover Awais in Gujranwala-Pakistan. Manjeet Kaur secretly dumped her visitor identity card into trash bin there. Took the visitor identity card of her lovers’ female relative and posed her a Pakistani visitor and Manjeet Kaur remained successful in going out of the premises of the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Katarpur.
When, the Pakistani Security Agencies , became in action and they took Manjeet Kaur in custody and did not allow her to go in other parts of the Pakistan without the valid visa. They took her back to this Gurdwara from where she was sent back to India through Kartarpur Corridor.
Senior security officials said that the internal and external security has been further tightened in and around this Gurdwara and Kartarpur Corridor after this incident. Officials added that the Security Check Sweep as also been further tightened there to keep vigilance Watch on all the Sikh Yatrees (pilgrims) upon their arrival, their stay at this Gurdwara and their departure back to India through this Corridor as well.
