ISLAMABAD: ‘Selected’ cannot bar the PPP workers from holding halsa in Liaqat Bagh to commemorate the Martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, the spokesman to the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said in a statement here on Monday.
Government has refused the permission to hold public rally at Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi on the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
Khokhar said that government is using nefarious tactics but he wants to make it clear that the public rally on martyrdom anniversary will take place at Liaqat Bagh at any cost. PPP will approach the courts for holding jalsa at Liaqat Bagh on the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
He said that this fascist selected government is not allowing PPP to observe martyrdom anniversary of its leader. The selected government is frightened of peoples’ politics and is trying to silence every dissenting voice. The new Pakistan of ‘selected’ is not very different from India of extremist Modi, Senator Mustafa concluded.
