KARACHI: Election Tribunal on Monday has nullified decision of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and rejected nomination papers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Saifullah Abro.
As per details, an application was filed in the tribunal against acceptance of Saifullah Abro’s paper. The plea argued that the PTI candidate concealed his assets in the papers and returning officer (RO) accepted the nomination papers without hearing the other side.
The petitioner requested the tribunal to set aside ECP’s decision and disqualify Saifullah Abro for Senate elections.
