PESHAWAR: Senetor Dost Muhammad Mehsud, has strongly condemned the killing of four coal miners in Harnai area of Balochistan, 3 other coal miners have been injured.
The bodies and the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where the injured victim’s treatment was started. The bodies were identified by police as Noor Khan, Abudl Hanan, Syed Hanan and Abdul Rehman while the injured included Shair Zaman, Syed Akram and Baz Muhammad.
He said, the other day at the hands of the outlawed Baloch separatist outfit Baloch liberation Army.
He expressed his deep sorrow and anguish over gruesome killings of innocent Pushtoon coal-miners. He also express concern over mysterious silence and inaction of both Federal and Provincial governments and the Law Enforcement Agencies.
He lamented this irony that massacre of the Pushtoons on various pretexts have had been going on since long and the state continues to act as silent spectator- which tends to give the impression of its complicity in this game of death.
He demanded that Shuhada Package be given to the martyred coal-miners and adequate treatment to the injured miners along with their proper rehabilitation.
He questioned the very silence of the mainstream media, anchors, civil society activists, so-called democrats and the nationalists, over their lukewarm response to the plight of the Pushtoons coal-miners- who are facing with genocide and ethnic cleansing at the hands of the Baloch separatists elements.
Senator Mehsud castigated the leadership of the Pushtoons for their criminal silence over the plight of the hapless Pushtoons-awaiting for a Messiah to relieve them from their agonizing fate.
He appealed To Chief Justice of Pakistan to take Suo Motu of the killings of coal miners, with a view to stop this genocide. Moreover he demanded that arms licenses be issued to the coal-miners, so that they protect themselves.
