SWABI: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser stressing collective efforts for development of the country, said a collective approach instead of individual efforts would to progress and prosperity.
Speaking at the awards ceremony at Gaju Khan Medical College in Swabi District, he said establishment of this college was his dream, which has become a reality
Asad Qaiser said Allah almighty helps those who work for the humanity and uplift of the marginalized segments of the society.
He said that achieving that task in presence of immense challenges require hard work and dedication. The speaker paid tributes to his teachers and said that the position he is in today, is the result of the hard work and prayers of his teachers. He emphasized that students of the medical college should work with dedication, complete their studies and work for the humanity.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of Bacha Khan Medical Complex, Faseh Zaman, lauded the efforts of Speaker National Assembly, saying Asad Qaiser had dreamed this institution as speaker Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Assembly. He said Gaju Khan Medical College is one of the best medical colleges in the province and this year the medical college student secured second position across the province. He vowed that Gaju Medical College would soon become Gaju Khan Medical University.
Later, the Speaker distributed certificates and prizes among position holders of Gajukhan Medical College. He also inaugurated the X-ray department and building of Girls’ Hostel at Gajukhan Medical Complex.
