SHEIKHUPURA: At least seven people including a woman were injured in separate road mishaps in different localities of Sheikhupura on Friday, police said.
According to details, the first road accident took place near Sharqpur Sharif Mandianwala Stop at Lahore Road where an over speeding rickshaw turned turtle. Four people including 20-year Adnan s/o Ramzan Ali, 22-year Muhammad Selman s/o Ramzan Ali, 45-year Naseer Ahmad s/o Chiragh Din and 50-year Hameedan Bibi w/o Mushtaq Ahmad were critically injured.
The second road mishap occurred near Kot Ranjeet Town at Gujranwala Road where a car and rickshaw collided head-on. Three passengers were injured in the accident.
The injured of both accidents were shifted to local hospitals for treatment and the police after registering separate cases in both accidents started investigations.
