LAHORE: President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif has announced to convene an All Parties Conference after Eid-ul-Azha.
According to details, the decision was taken during a meeting between Opposition Leader of National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of JUI-F Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman.
Talking to media after the meeting, Shehbaz Sharif said that getting rid of the government is need of the hour as country is being ruled by illegitimate and incompetent people. He added that inflation has skyrocketed in last two years and massive increase in petrol prices is an example of incumbent government’s bad governance.
While lashing out at government over flour crisis, Shehbaz Sharif said that flour provided by government is not edible and people are forced to buy expensive flour. Wheat shortages are everywhere, while sugar prices are also skyrocketing, he added.
On the other hand, sources have claimed that consultations between the opposition parties, to make the APC successful, have entered final stages and Lahore has become the center of Pakistan’s political activities.
Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also arrive in Lahore tonight for a two day visit to discuss APC agenda and other issues with PML-N leadership and Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman.
